The PosiTector BHI - DeFelsko's solution for measuring hardness on hard plastics and soft metals, such as aluminum, copper, brass, and more.- Familiar. The BHI probe is interchangeable and compatible with the tried-and-true PosiTector instrument platform. It is available as a package with either the Standard or the Advanced Gage/Body, or as a probe-only.
- Specialized. Compares to the 934-1 Barcol Hardness Tester.
- Capable. Numerous advantages over conventional analog instruments (as well as competitive digital instruments) including:
- Memory. Enhances convenience and reliability of reporting by saving readings for archiving or reporting.
- Reporting options. The PosiTector BHI includes the PosiSoft suite of software for viewing and reporting.
- Test Time. To improve accuracy when testing some materials that continue to deform during the test, the PosiTector Barcol Hardness Impressor offers on-board elapsed time setting capability.

Test disks are used in the Positector BHI Barcol Hardness Impressor to verify the operation. Two aluminum alloy disks are included (1 Hard and 1 Soft) with each new DeFelsko BHI probe kit. The replacement disks shown here come in packs of 5 with a plate included, and are available in the following hardnesses:

The PosiTector®SHD - DeFelsko's solution for measuring shore hardness on non-metallic surfaces. Capable and configurable, it offers the following:
- Familiar. Built on the tried-and-true PosiTector gauge / body platform, with interchangeable measurement probe options.
- Capable. The SHD comes in two probe models for different hardness ranges.
- Shore A (soft to hard materials such as soft rubber, elastomers, neoprene, silicone, etc.
- Shore D (medium to extra hard materials such as hard rubber, hard plastics, epoxies, PVC, acrylic, etc.
- Configurable. Available as follows:
- Probe only. Use with your existing PosiTector gage.
- Standard PosiTector package with choice of probe.
- Advanced PosiTector package with choice of probe.

DeFelsko test stands for use with their Shore Hardness Durometers: Helps reduce operator influence on testing results by positioning the probe in a controlled, repeatable way. Two types available:
- INDSHDSTANDA - for use with Shore A probe. 1 kg (2.2 lb) deadweight included.
- INDSHDSTANDD - for use with a Shore D probe. 5 kg (11 lb) deadweight included.
