BA840800079Older Schmidt bulk pots were built before the HALOK system became standard. That means they rely only on procedural discipline to prevent opening under pressure. The HALOK Retrofit Kit adds a mechanical failsafe that physically prevents the lid from being opened until the vessel is fully depressurized—bringing pre-2010 Schmidt pots up to modern safety standards.
