DeFelsko PosiTector Gage Bodies are the interchangeable instrument platforms used across the PosiTector inspection system. Both Standard and Advanced bodies use the same rugged Gen 5 platform with a 2.8 inch color touchscreen, on gage help, and an IP65 rated enclosure for field use.

DeFelsko PosiTector Gage Bodies are the core instrument bodies that power the PosiTector 6000 probe system. They provide the display, controls, storage, and connectivity used to capture readings and manage inspection records across coating thickness, environmental conditions, surface profile, and other compatible PosiTector probes. The Gen 5 gage body platform was introduced in 2021 and is backwards compatible with PosiTector probes manufactured since 2012.
Both Standard and Advanced Gen 5 bodies share the same field focused hardware platform, including a larger 2.8 inch color touchscreen, updated user interface, on gage help, IP65 rated enclosure with protective rubber holster, rubberized grip, auto rotating display, and an instant on wake feature for faster spot checks.
The Standard gage body is a fit for straightforward measurement and USB data transfer into desktop software. The Advanced gage body is built for higher volume inspection and reporting, adding much larger storage capacity, faster scan modes, Wi Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, batch notes with an on screen keyboard, prompted batch workflows, and coating thickness compliance modes when used with applicable probes.
