MontiPower Tercoo Pre-Blaster Disc

The Tercoo® Pre-Blaster Disc Assembly is the latest in surface preparation innovation from MontiPower. It is built for the first stage of a two-step surface preparation approach, removing heavy coatings and corrosion so the Bristle Blaster can focus on final cleaning and profiling. The wheel uses tungsten-carbide tips on a fast-rotating disc design to break through tough materials efficiently, especially where thick build and hard residues would slow down other profiling tools. This disc assembly is supplied as a single, pre-assembled wheel comprised of 8 individual discs. For buyers who want the convenience of a dedicated package, the Tercoo Electric Tool Kit is separately available including the tool, case, and first Tercoo wheel. Alternatively, a standard Bristle Blaster unit can also be converted for Tercoo work by replacing the shroud with the Tercoo shroud and removing the arm.- Function: pre-blasting step for rapid removal of thick, tough coatings on concrete and on steel
- Construction: pre-assembled wheel with 8 tungsten-carbide tipped discs
- Removal capability: coatings up to 5 mm thick (paint, epoxy, bitumen, tar, rubber, rust, fireproofing), per manufacturer data
- Initial data suggests a lifespan of up to 300 square feet of surface, when used on steel. The lifespan is less on concrete, but the further step of profiling with a Bristle Blaster may not be required.
