DeFelsko PosiTector Inspection Kits are general purpose pre-configured inspection kits for coating thickness verification, environmental condition review, and surface profile measurement. They are built for the inspection steps most coating specs call out, thickness readings, dew point and climate checks, and profile documentation before and during coating work. This kit family is available in over 20 configurations based on surface profile type, gage/body type, and substrate / coating thickness type . Choose a standard DeFelsko PosiTector Pre-Configured Inspection Kit when you want direct surface profile readings using a PosiTector SPG surface profile probe. Choose a Positector Pre-Configured Testex inspection kit when you want tape based surface profile documentation using a Testex Digital Micrometer and replica tape, instead of an SPG probe. Each kit also includes a choice of PosiTector gage body (Standard or Advanced), a PosiTector DPM environmental probe, and a choice of PosiTector 6000 coating thickness probe based on your substrate type, thickness range, and probe style.

• Primary job: Measure coating thickness, document environmental conditions, and record surface profile for coating inspection and reporting

  • SPG probe kits: PosiTector SPG surface profile probe included (order codes without RT)
  • Testex kits: Testex Digital Micrometer plus replica tape included (order codes ending in RT), replaces an SPG probe
